| | | Developing Good Mental Health - School Talk Series for Teenagers.
Mental Health Talk series in schools to show teenagers how to recognise stress, anxiety and depression. Basic suicide first Aid.
Psycho-educational tools to help teenagers deal with the pressures of exams, studying, bullying and how to build resilience and improve motivation in this current climate.
I have started this School Series because of the dramatic increase in suicide attempts from the 15-24 year old age group. I hope that for teenagers who are in a dark place that they will learn that there is support out there, how to get it, from parents, to teachers, friends and health professionals.

| | | Mind your Mental Health | | | Remember, if you feel suicidal, first, go and see your GP, then arrange to go and talk to a Psychologist. Remember to take the first step towards suicide first aid. For family members or friends follow the above method, even if that means bringing your family member to the GP.
The first step is to look after your mental health, put the basics in place, get enough sleep, eat three balanced meals per day, be careful of alcohol, get 30 minutes exercise everyday. Connect and talk with family and friends, build up support and talk to a professional mental health expert.
Looking after your mental health is just the same as looking after your physical health. Invest time into self care and mind your mind.
